St. Charles Pediatric Dentist - Dr. Kajal Joshi

Kajal Joshi, D.M.D

PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY

Tongue-Tied Academy Graduate

A native of Cary, North Carolina, Dr. Joshi, grew up embracing the best of Eastern and Western cultures. As a first generation Indian American, her diverse experiences have taught her to be culturally competent, respectful to varying approaches to healthcare, as well as provide personalized dental care to her patients. Coming from a large, loud and fun family that she considers her “village” and her foundation, she is family-oriented and aims to make DPD Smiles feel just like family!

Since Dr. Joshi took over leadership of DuPage Pediatric Dentistry and rebranded to DPD Smiles, she has not only grown her dental home from a pediatric practice to a multi-specialty group, but has also grown her family. Dr. Joshi is now a proud parent of three adorable children and two super cute therapy dogs, Saya and Vani! Wanting a personal touch, she has spent countless hours going above and beyond to offer exceptional care for her patients and families from offering services such as frenectomies to painless fillings with laser therapy to therapy dogs for patient comfort. Making sure patients feel at home and have access to the latest treatments is important to Dr. Joshi. In addition to being a super MOM and talented pedodontist, she loves spending time outdoors, dancing, playing cards and board games, and traveling.

In short, Dr. Joshi simply enjoys making people smile and giving them the confidence to smile freely! Her favorite part of each day is having her patients leave the clinic just as happy (if not more) as they came in. She enjoys working with kids, being goofy with them, and of course hearing all the fun and interesting topics they share. Her patients are always teaching her a new way to view the world, which allows her to grow individually and expand her passion for clinical excellence. The motto “Don’t stop, Won’t stop” is why coming into the clinic is not a job but rather a way of life. She lives by the saying, don’t stop won’t stop as she strives to make DPD smiles a happy home for her, her team, her patients and their families.
