First, we take every measure possible to prevent the use of physical restraints. Depending on your child’s unique needs, we may use soothing music, one of our therapy dogs, aromatherapy, or sensory toys to keep your child calm and relaxed during his dental treatment.
Multiple Appointments
Our Wheaton special needs pediatric dentist is also willing to split appointments into multiple sessions if needed. If your child can only sit for ten minutes at a time, we will schedule as many appointments as necessary to ensure they receive high-quality dental care at their pace.
